I put my Monaro in to my local garage to have a water leak fixed. I'd been using them for years and trusted them. After I got the car back I got this of the roadhawk. I really hope they enjoyed they joy ride, 125mph is pushing it especially on this road! Needless to say they've lost a customer! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E66BDZ0PShMHow much do you trust your garage?

Tempy 1310 posts 30 months | Wednesday 16th September 2009 Lost a customer? Jesus, I would have been straight back down there in full red mist mode. That's annoyed me watching that and it's not even my car. Impressive bit of kit that Roadhawk.

Oh yes, I confronted them. At first they denied it but when I mentioned the 'black box' they started appologising. What else could they do? As for the roadhawk it's great. Here's the url. It sits behind the rear view mirror I can't see it from the drivers seat. http://www.roadhawk.co.uk/What annoys the hell out of me is the fact that they must have been doing this for the last 3 years. The video is much longer of course, that's about a third of it. Even when they were bringing it back to my house (They said I didn't need to get a taxi, they'd be nice and bring it back to me! how stupid do I feel?) they were doing over 100. It's not as if it's an unknown car in th area, everyone knows it's my car. So anyone being 'buzzed' by those idiots woiuld think it was me. If they get speed trapped, I'd have some explaining to do with the police. I'm just shocked at the betrayal of trust and pissed that I've been taken for a fool for the past 3 years. Anyway I guess you live and learn. Even though it's 150 miles to Monkfish from here, noone else is going to touch her but them.

granada203028 410 posts 32 months | Wednesday 16th September 2009 I sympathise. I discovered my owner's manual has been thumbed through with dirty hands, I guess that sounds relatively trivial but still annoys me. Wrecks my attempts to keep it nice. Don't they have service information on computer or something? This was a Monaro approved Vauxhall main dealer.

tattooboy 1288 posts 13 months | Wednesday 16th September 2009 What a bunch of See You Next Tuesday's !! Take that bit of handy kit down to the local boys in blue and get them done for every thing they can come up with which I would of thought would be quite a bit, speeding, driving without due care and attention, stealing !! It might not only be your car they are doing this with, also name and shame the t ts.

Trouble is with a Tracker, is its only meant to be "tracked" if its been nicked, well mine is anyway... I dont think Tracker would be very happy if i asked for speeds during road tests after every service.. At least with the roadhawk, you've caught the C Ts redhanded on the telly
